Rooted to Rise
Rooted to Rise is a program created through a partnership between GEEARS: The Georgia Early Education Alliance for Ready Students (GEEARS) and the Rollins Center for Language and Literacy at the Atlanta Speech School that provides parents and caregivers of young children, as well as expecting parents, with tools and strategies to support early brain and language development.
Endurance Project Management (EPM) has been working on this project since its inception; starting with the completion of a landscape analysis of existing parent engagement programs. The findings from the landscape analysis were used to develop the infrastructure for the initial program pilots. In 2016, EPM worked with project partners to develop curriculum and evaluation, pilot projects, volunteer and host-site recruitment and volunteer training.
In 2017, EPM will be working with partners to continue to build out the program plan, including 20 more pilot programs.
